Lyla Diane
Lucas Jewell-Sever
4/24/1929~2/28/2010
Diane, Danny to her friends and family, was an amazingly intelligent, loving and talented woman. An accomplished musician and lover of all animals, but especially her Arabian horses and her Whippet dogs. She took great joy daily at the view out of her kitchen window of the mountains of the Wasatch front, but her biggest joy was her family, to whom she devoted her life. She had a great faith, and was a friend to all that crossed her path. She taught her children the joy of music, film, books, travel, and kindness to all who enter your door. Most of all, she taught them perseverance. She overcame so many obstacles in her life with never a complaint.
She died peacefully of natural causes at home with her beloved husband, Gerald Sever, and daughter Wendy Jewell-Onstott, and her husband Charles Onstott.
Diane is survived also by her adoring grandchildren, Lucas and Jessica Onstott, and her son, Shannon Jewell, who resides in Duvall, Washington with his family, wife, Jeanette, son Jacob, and daughter, Lindsey Brianne Jewell, who now resides in Washington D.C.; also survived by her daughter Lori Jewell Condacure of Tuscon, AZ. She is also survived by her three sisters, Carolyn Scoorus, Alice VanHala, both residing in Michigan, and Sylvia Maple, who resides in Colorado.
Peace be with Diane as she joins her parents, John (Pappy) and Naomi Lucas, and her beloved Aunt Berdie. It will be a warm and wonderful reunion.
