Mary Lynn Kofford Adams
"An Angel on Earth"
The most wonderful, caring and beautiful person was taken from us leaving behind a hole that can only be filled by tears. On April 14, 2010 Mary Lynn returned today to live with her Father in Heaven.Born September 20, 1964 in Gunnison Utah, Mary Lynn was a mother, a daughter, an aunt, a wife, and a genuine friend to anyone who crossed her path. She was adored by her husband Dave and their two sons, Austin and Devin. She always cared for "her boys" first, making sure their needs were met before her own. Mary Lynn referred to her home as their "little white house" because of her favorite Doug Stone song where he sings, "love grows best in little houses ... " Mary Lynn graduated from Utah State University in 1986, and taught elementary school at Bellview and Altara for a total of 11 years. Her 11 years of teaching hundreds of children to read allowed her to teach her own boys to read and instilled in them a love for learning. Mary Lynn taught us all many lessons and for the thousands of people whose lives she touched, our lives are richer for having known her. On August 16, 1986, Mary Lynn married Dave Adams, her best friend, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. The years that followed were so-o-o special. They are never to be forgotten.
Mary Lynn is survived by her husband, Dave; sons, Austin and Devin; parents, Lloyd and Margaret Ann Kofford; sister, Lora Lee Oliverson (husband Kurt); parents-in-law, Ken and Margie Adams; brothers and sisters-in-law, and a number of adoring nieces and nephews.
