"3 Idiots" (Big Pictures, $19.99) — "Bollywood" comedy featuring Aamir Khan and Madhavan. Hindi with subtitles

"Defamation" (First Run, $24.95) — Documentary feature about anti-Semitism. Hebrew and English with subtitles.

Not rated, probable PG-13 (profanity, slurs, violence)

"The Disappeared" (MPI, $24.95) — Horror film about a man (Tom Felton) haunted by the ghost of his long-missing little brother.

Not rated, probable R (violence, profanity)

"Extraordinary Measures" (Sony, $28.95) — ★★ — This dull drama probably should have played on the small screen. Brendan Fraser stars.

Special features: Behind-the-scenes minidocumentary.

PG (profanity, drugs, brief sex, vulgarity, slurs)

"The Girl on the Train" (Strand, $27.99) — French drama dealing with an alleged "hate crime" and starring Catherine Deneuve. French with subtitles.

Not rated, probable PG-13 (violence, profanity, slurs)

"Invictus" (Warner, $28.98) — ★★1/2 — Clint Eastwood couldn't decide which movie he wanted to make — a sports drama or a biography. Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon star.

Special features: Blu-ray/DVD combo ($35.99) contains Blu-ray and standard DVD versions of the film, digital copy for home-electronics devices, behind-the-scenes minidocumentary.

"The Messenger" (Oscilloscope, $29.99) —★★★— This well-acted Iraq war drama is not a happy film. Ben Foster and Woody Harrelson star.

"The New Daughter" ($29.98) — Supernatural thriller starring Kevin Costner as a man whose teenage daughter may be possessed by an evil spirit.

"Prodigal Sons" (First Run, $24.95) — Documentary chronicling filmmaker Kimberly Reed's attempts to reconcile with her long-estranged adopted brother.

"The Spy Next Door" (Lionsgate, $29.95) — ★★ — Jackie Chan plays second fiddle to bratty youngsters in this irritating action-comedy.

"Valentine's Day" (Warner, $28.98) — ★★ — Garry Marshall's multi-character, multi-story romance tale is overstuffed and a little bit raunchy.
