Together Again!
Donna Mae Belnap Lewis was reunited with her Sweetheart Norm on April 29, 2010.
She was born July 29, 1929 in Rexburg, Idaho to Ezra L. and Lina Mae Hansen Belnap. Raised in Rexburg, Pocatello and Salt Lake City, graduated from Granite High. She married Norman R. Lewis on April 7, 1947, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Donna was a consummate baker, cook, and homemaker, known for her homemade bread and rolls. She was also blessed with a green thumb. She loved to garden, especially her roses. She always had a great sense of humor. She loved to travel and was a Jazz season ticket holder. She loved her family. She was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. She is survived by her three sons: Terry (Carol), Mesa, Az.; Rick (Jane), St. George, Ut.; Mike (Nancy), Sandy, Ut; seven grandchildren: Amy, Niki, Ashley, Angie, Matt, McCall and Macy; six great-grandchildren, and her siblings Vaughn (Pat), Marv (Bobbie), Judy Dansie (Gary) and Val (Joanne).
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 7, 2010 at 12:00pm at the Olympus 2nd Ward, 3070 E. Nila Way (4140 South). A viewing will be held at Holladay Cottonwood Memorial Mortuary, 4670 Highland Dr., Thursday, May 6th, from 6-8pm, and at the church from 11:00-11:45 on Friday prior to services.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the Alta Ridge Assisted Living and Alzheimer's Facility for the love and special care given to our Mother. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested you make a donation to the LDS church Perpetual Education Fund.
