One often asks the question: "What does science really know about life?" The answer is: "Nothing!" Granted, scientists have been superb in the manipulation of living organisms for the betterment of humanity, but some of those scientists, aided by the media, lead many to believe they are near to creating life.
A recent example is "A step to artificial life: Manmade DNA powers cell,"(May 20). While marvelous in ability to manipulate such microscopic elements to achieve new cell structures, that's all it is: just manipulation. Science will never be able to create life. And, not realizing the spiritual nature of all living things, they will continue to struggle to do the impossible.
