"Forever Young"
Our loving, tenderhearted son, brother, and nephew, Robert John Timothy, passed away May 21, 2010 from complications of Peutz-Jeghers syndrome. He was born on June 19, 1978 to Gary Timothy and Teresa Springer Timothy in Salt Lake City. He graduated from Bingham High in 1996, he was fortunate to have many friends including; KJ, Mike and Eric.
Rob loved to have fun, party with his friends, golfing, fishing, music and to eat good food. He was an avid sports fan and followed his favorite teams, The Bears, The Jazz, Cubbies and the U of U.
Because Robert has struggled with a lifetime illness he wasn't able to accomplish all the things he wanted to. He was a brave boy and man, who lived with a lot of pain for many years.
He is survived by his loving parents and special sister, Katie Timothy and her boyfriend Ryan Moeller. Uncles and aunts, Nae and Jerry Bryant and John and Dee Springer.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ben and Carol Timothy and John and Jayne Springer, his Aunt Nancy, Uncles Bert and Bo, and his girlfriend Jen.
It brings us comfort to know that Robert is now free of pain, because a parent can only be as happy as their saddest child. Our hearts are broken and there will be a giant hole in our lives that can never be filled. Rob was our kind, big hearted boy and grandma Jayne's 'shiney new penny'.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy. (10600 S.) with a viewing Wednesday, May 26th from 6-8:00 p.m. and from 10:00-10:45 prior to the services Thursday.
