AMERICAN FORK — Academic testing and certification company Certiport has acquired the MeasureUp assessment and certification practice test company to add a test preparation element to its global business.
Certiport provides job hunters with certification tests for programs such as those from Adobe and Microsoft. Its recent purchase will offer a full range of solutions to support the entire certification process, including study materials, practice exams and certifications, according to the company.
The Utah County business will continue services at more than 10,000 testing centers in 142 countries worldwide.
MeasureUp is based in Roswell, Ga., and will continue serving clients under its new owner. The testing preparation company has been a long-term practice test provider for programs from companies including Oracle and Oracle's subsidiary Sun Microsystems.
