FDA needs to butt out

Nanny state, here we go again. This time with the support of the Deseret News.

As for the FDA vs. salt, the conventional wisdom is everything in moderation. We do not need the FDA telling us what we can and cannot eat. How can a conservative newspaper like yours support this intrusion into our personal lives? The slippery slope is here and we are on it. The FDA needs to spend its limited resources on assuring our food supply chain is safe, not regulating what we consume.
