SALT LAKE CITY — It remains to be seen if the University of Utah will leave the Mountain West Conference for the Pac-10 or some other new conference opportunity. Speculation is running rampant, and the rumors change on a regular basis.

"Eventually everything will get sorted out," said Utah football coach Kyle Whittingham. "With so many rumors circulating about realignment and conference expansion it makes no sense to speculate at this point in time. Our only concern right now is to prepare for the coming season."
