SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Food Bank is 1,044 food kits and $10,000 ahead, thanks to 61 Salt Lake City KeyBank employees who took last Tuesday afternoon off for the 20th Annual Neighbors Make A Difference Day.

By the end of the day, they had also sorted through 1,800 pounds of food and donated 244 volunteer hours and 417 pounds of food.

Jill Taylor, KeyBank's Utah district president, said summertime makes it easy for people who have enough to eat to forget there are others going hungry.
