Lemuell Jay Hall Jr., our beloved father, grandfather, great-grand-father, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2010 in Bountiful, Utah. His dear companion, friend, and soul mate Eva Hall was waiting as he passed into her arms and loved ones on the other side. He was married to his sweetheart on May 15, 1950 and later sealed to his eternal companion on April 19, 1978 in the Salt Lake City Temple. He was blessed with one son and one daughter.
He was born in Idaho Falls, ID October 24, 1922 to Lemuell Jay and Icey G. Hall Sr. He attended Trade Tech after returning home from his service in World War II.
He was a very active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Sons of the Utah Pioneers as an avid member of the Utah Rainbow Sams Club.
He is survived by his daughter Jalene (Russell) Young, his son Lynn (Teri) Hall, 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren (soon to be 10). He was preceded in death by his wife.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the Canyon Rim 1st Ward, 3100 East 3000 South at 12:00 p.m. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. prior to services.
