OMAHA, Neb. — West Haven's 11U "Team Rock" won the Slumpbuster Tournament title held in conjunction with the NCAA College World Series.

Team Rock beat Benders (Tallahassee, Fla.) 11-8 in the championship game. Kade Skeen hit a 3-run home run and Haze Hadley hit an RBI single to break a 7-7 tie in the sixth inning against Benders.

West Haven also beat Denver's Thornton Rebels, the GABA Rebels from Naperville, Ill., Bridgeport Bombers from Chicago and South Oregon White Socks on their way to the title game. Home runs by Skeen, Hadley and Brennan Roundy were key in the semifinal game against South Oregon.

Team Rock also includes Saxton Morby, Colter Wilde, J.D. Hamby, Jestin Schickel, Cade Hadley, Easton Andersen, and Boston Lay, with manager Broc Hadely and coaches Bret Hadley, Dale Skeen, and Allen Schickel.
