Alpine adds events to weeklong celebration

ALPINE — Alpine Days organizers are promising a bigger and better bash Aug. 7-14 with three new events.

New events this year include a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, a Jimmy Wayne Concert to be held at Lone Peak High School and the inaugural Alpine's Got Talent contest.

Past events, including the Championship Bull Riding Extravaganza, Little Buckaroo Rodeo, mountain bike race, golf tournament and Family Night bowling tournament also will be held again this year.
