SALT LAKE CITY — Utahns who work for or bank with America First Credit Union have pitched in to raise money for earthquake-ravaged Haiti. Tuesday morning, the credit union will present the American Red Cross with a check for $10,654.

"As nearly seven months have passed since the devastating earthquake in Haiti, I want to express a heartfelt thank you to America First and to all who volunteered contributions to help," said Maxine Margaritis, chief executive officer of the Red Cross' Utah region. "Utahns contributed a total of $2.1 million through the American Red Cross as of June 30. It has been so heartwarming to see this support from our state."
