Our dear sweet Claudia beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully on August 10, 2010 at her home in Salt Lake City surrounded by her loving family. Claudia was born October 11, 1949 in Salt Lake City to Faye and Harold Jensen.Claudia graduated from Highland High in 1968 and attended Weber State College. She later married Michael P. Barrett on March 25, 1978. She was a member of the LDS Church and served in many callings including Relief Society President of the Richards Ward. She was employed at AAPC for the past 14 years. She was as an active supporter of the Utah Special Olympics. Claudia was blessed with many creative talents which manifested themselves in her art work, gardening, cooking and the special and unique gifts she so freely gave to others. Claudia became an avid enthusiast of the game of golf. She always had a loving and accepting heart and a kind uplifting word to all she knew.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Mike Barrett, and two sons Jeffrey M. and Jason D. Barrett, sisters Karen Doney and Kathy J. Nelson, and her many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and Sister Christie Kaye Jensen.

Viewing held on August 13th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sugarhouse Stake Center, 1621 S. 1100 East, Salt Lake City, and one hour prior to funeral. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 14th at 11 a.m. at Sugarhouse Stake Center. Interment at Salt Lake City Cemetery. Funeral Director Neil O'Donnell & Sons.
