LOS ANGELES — "Toy Story 3" is now the highest-grossing animated film of all time.

The third movie in the Pixar series about cowboy Woody, space ranger Buzz Lightyear and the toys' owner, Andy, has crossed more than $920 million at box offices worldwide since opening June 18, according to Disney.

That means it edged out DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc.'s "Shrek 2" to attain the top spot.
