PROVO — An Orem man was arrested after police say he exposed himself outside a movie theater Saturday.
Samuel Lynn Ellsworth, 34, was booked into jail for investigation of lewdness.
Ellsworth exposed himself outside Wynnsong Cinemas with the zipper of his pants down, according to a police affidavit filed in 4th District Court. An officer found Ellsworth still exposed, several blocks away near the corner of Center Street and Palisades Drive in Orem, the affidavit states.
Ellsworth is a convicted sex offender and is on probation for prior offenses, the affidavit states. Because of that, police will ask prosecutors to consider filing a third-degree felony charge.
