WEST VALLEY CITY — The Utah Grizzlies have signed rookie forward Chris Donovan for the 2010-2011 season.
Donovan, a native of Virginia, played four years of college hockey at Northeastern University in Boston. His top season came in 2008-09, when he totaled eight goals and 11 assists for 19 points and 61 penalty minutes in 41 games.
"Chris is a high-character player and we are excited to have him," said Grizzlies head coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley. "We got a great reference on him from his college coach and my former AHL coach, Greg Cronin."
