Update: Mormon sisters head to 'Talent' finals

Mormon sisters Ali and Christina Christensen sang in Tuesday night's semifinal round of NBC's America's Got Talent.

The sisters from Idaho Falls, Idaho, sang "When You Believe" by Mariah Carey and are hoping their performance will take them to the final round.

They both have cystic fibrosis and were told early on by doctors they would never be able to sing well and could expect to die young.

The pair is one of 24 acts in the semifinal round and 10 move to the finals. Twelve performed Tuesday, Aug. 24, and five will move to the finals based on America's vote. The results will be announced Wednesday night.
