PARIS — French fashion house Chloe says it has named Geoffroy de La Bourdonnaye to succeed Ralph Toledano as CEO.
The label, which is owned by luxury giant Compagnie Financiere Richemont SA, is thanking Toledano for his "tireless work" and wishing him "every success in the future." The announcement came Friday.
Toledano joined Chloe in 1999 and helped dust off the storied house and turn it into one of fashion's hottest properties. The Paris-based label's fortunes have flagged in recent years, though, and Toledano struggled of late to replicate his earlier success.
The statement did not detail the circumstances of Toledano's departure or say what his plans are.
