LOGAN — Utah State University is getting up to 1,000 inquiries a day on financial aid for students.

Steve Sharp is the director of Utah State's financial aid office. He says he's never seen it as busy in 17 years.

Sharp says his staff is earning their paychecks — and coming in on weekends to keep up with the workload.
