SOCCER: EL PASO, Texas — Three straight goals in the game's first 19 minutes were too much to overcome as Utah Valley fell 3-1 at UTEP on Sunday.

Whitney Fuller scored her first career goal 23 minutes into the game to get the Wolverines (1-3-0) on the board. Neither team would score again though as the Wolverines dropped their third straight match.

"It was disappointing that we started so poorly," said head coach Brent Anderson. "After that though it was probably the best we've played all season. It ended up being a great game."

Katie Dorman scored the first goal of the game, 5:49 into the contest on assists from Jessie Pettit and Anoop Josan. Brittany Kindzierski made it 2-0 less than 10 minutes later and Pettit completed the scoring for the Miners (2-1-0) in the 19th minute.
