Apparently, we as citizens of the world need to return to the ideals of goodness. It doesn't matter whether we're Americans, Mexicans, Arabians, Christians, Mormons, Muslims, atheists, heterosexuals, homosexuals or any combination of these or others. We all have a responsibility to act in favor of optimism, respect, honesty, civility, responsibility and more. It may be surprising how many of our problems readable in the news today can be solved with these ideals. We must honestly obey the laws of the land and uphold the principles of good government and heritage. When laws aren't necessarily enough to solve some problems, simply being respectful examples to our neighbors can be enough. When goodness abounds, even the value of being to good to another can lead to an optimism that the other will be civil in return, or vice versa.
