Life is so fast-fleeting. It's a shame that we just can't seem to behave for a few moments. Failing to adhere our living standards to the Golden Rule's perfect pattern by treating others as we would like to be treated seems to be, sadly, more common in today's world of "me, me."

With the converging multiplicity of unkindliness, indecency, lack of neighborly consideration for our fellow man and all to prevalent prejudices, I'm reminded of my parents' teachings of over 77 years ago: To belittle is to be little.
