Deedee Corradini selected as International Women's Forum president

WASHINGTON — Former Salt Lake City Mayor Deedee Corradini has been selected as president of the International Women's Forum, an organization dedicated to promoting better leadership.

Also elected were Ludmila Shvetsova, vice mayor of Moscow, as vice president; and Sein Chew, president and CEO of Unity Asset Management in Hong Kong, as treasurer.

"Having a leadership team representing the U.S., Russia and China is a wonderful privilege at a time in history when our three countries are at the forefront of changes taking place in today's world," Corradini said.

"Significant power is unleashed when a global association of diverse women of extraordinary accomplishment promote better world leadership with new ideas, new solutions and new perspectives," she said.

The IWF has a network of more than 5,000 members from 26 nations on five continents.
