WEST VALLEY CITY — Syringa Networks, a regional provider of high-speed fiber optic services, has signed a dark fiber deal with Utah company C7 Data Centers.

The agreement allows C7 to provide any type of connectivity requirement its customers may have and the ability to transfer nearly infinite bandwidth between two of its key data centers.

“This dark fiber connectivity is a great complement to the value proposition C7’s state-of-the-art Bluffdale data center offers to its clients,” Gabe Gomez, Syringa Networks general manager for Utah operations, said. “For Syringa Networks, it demonstrates our commitment to improving Utah’s telecommunication infrastructure where there is a demand for diverse high capacity fiber-based networks.”

C7 Data Centers is a Utah company that provides colocation, cloud, dedicated server and disaster recovery solutions to local, national and international businesses. It has data centers in Salt Lake City, Bluffdale and Lindon.
