LEHI — Fifteen-year-old Brayden Rogowski spent 100 hours this week on a swing.

The teen began swinging back and forth on Monday afternoon and finished Friday at 6 p.m., hoping to help raise money and awareness for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He battled fatigue and stomach cramps, as well as near-freezing temperatures in the garage of his home, but his friends kept him going with video games, movie watching, and plenty of visits.

As a supporter of the foundation, Rogowski said he has "seen the remarkable power of a wish" being granted to a seriously ill child.

"It quite simply does what no medicine can — bringing precious moments of respite and joy to the children, their families and even entire communities," he said.

Last year, Rogowski swung for 72 hours during his Christmas vacation. He said he'll be doing it again next year.
