Ida Burningham Wiseman Jones1915 ~ 2011Ida Burningham Wiseman Jones was born April 30, 1915 in Bountiful, Utah and returned to her heavenly home on December 18, 2011. Born to Heber Irving Burningham and Mary Ann Zesiger. She was the third of five children and was raised on the family farm in Bountiful, Utah. She married her sweetheart, Rulon Wiseman, October 2, 1936. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Rulon was killed in an automobile accident on September 14, 1957. Ida married Robert Edwin Jones on June 2, 1960. Ed passed away on February 6, 1990.Mom was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints holding many callings and her love was working in the Primary organization. She was the "Hello Girl" on the switchboard at the Davis County Court House for many years and received great joy setting up the Davis County display at the State Fair, winning many ribbons. Mom was an active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.Mom was always a care giver caring for her mother, husband, brothers and sisters, other relatives and gave service to many who came her way. She loved life and treated all that came her way with compassion and love.Mom is survived by her two children, Carolyn (Julian) Dicks and Ralph (Judy) Wiseman; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 28 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Haven Burningham. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Lloyd Burningham, and sisters, Lena Parker and Ione Camp.We thank Orchard Cove Rehabilitation Center and South Davis Hospice Service for their tender and love care during mom's last days.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Bountiful 9th Ward, 585 East Center Street. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Wednesday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
