Gregory S. Johnson1956 ~ 2011Gregory S. Johnson, 55, died December 21, 2011, in Salt Lake City, Utah from heart failure. He was born; June 25, 1956 to Howard K. and Donna S. Johnson, in Salt Lake. He graduated from West High School and served an honorable L.D.S. mission in Adelaide, Australia. In 1978 he married Christie Lay; they had 3 children and later divorced. In 1993, he married Cindy Canfield; they also had 3 children, later divorced. Greg loved providing sound systems for various events and shared his talents with as many people as he could. He worked as an electronic technician for the United States Postal Service for 14 years. Greg was preceded in death by his father; Howard, son; Anthony, and grandson; Jayce. He is survived by his mother; Donna, brothers; Bruce (Linda), Kurt (Janet), and Eric (Sylvia), children; Aimie (Brian) Furse, Cameron, Matthew, Zachary, Emily, and five granddaughters.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 27, at 11:00 a.m., at the Salt Lake Riverside Stake Center, 1152 W. 500 N., Salt Lake City, Utah.
