Obituary: WOLFE, WILLIAM

William Addison Wolfe1934 ~ 2011Bill passed away December 22, 2011 after a long struggle with Parkinson's disease. He was born August, 2 1934 to Ernest and Nellie Wolfe, in Fruita, Colorado. He served his country in the U. S. Air Force, spending many years overseas in Japan, Korea, the Philippines and Germany. He married Erna Krauss in Germany on February 6, 1959. After retiring from the Air Force in 1968, they made their home in Woods Cross, Utah, where he worked for AeroTech Mfg. for 23 years. Bill is survived by his wife of nearly 53 years, Erna; children Helen (Jim) Foland, Ilona (James) Christopherson, Ralph (Jana) Wolfe and Rudy Wolfe; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother Herman (Betty) Wolfe; sisters Dora (Doc) Bowers and Nelda Park; sister-in-law Hilde (Gerhard) Wiese, Germany.The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tara and Daniel at Harmony hospice care.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where a viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
