FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez says he "no question, absolutely" has improved in his third season despite some fans and media questioning whether he can ever lead the team to a Super Bowl.
Sanchez says Wednesday that he understands there are high expectations, but adds that he is "absolutely" confident he has the support of his teammates. He is coming off a lousy performance against the Giants last Saturday, a loss that has put the Jets' playoff hopes in serious peril.
Sanchez says he has no regrets about playing in the fickle New York spotlight, and "win, lose or draw, I'm the luckiest guy in the world, I promise."

The Jets (8-7) need to win at Miami on Sunday and get plenty of help to make the playoffs.
