Joyce Darlene Cameron1935 ~ 2011Passed away on December 25, 2011, in the arms of her husband, at her home in Gilbert, Arizona. She passed away quietly on the day she celebrates both the birthday of her mother Adeline Grosso and of her Savior, Jesus Christ. She fought a valiant battle with cancer over a seven year period. She was born in Butte, Montana on December 12, 1935 to Bert Bartholamew Grosso and Adeline Horne Grosso. She was the fourth of five children. She Married Robert Wesley Cameron on February 12, 1954 in Butte, Montana. Their marriage was sealed for time and all eternity in the Idaho Falls Temple on August 6, 1963. Joyce was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a great love for the church and served in many Ward and Stake callings throughout her life. Joyce loved life, she was an avid photographer and especially loved taking and sharing pictures of her family. She was loved by everyone and made everyone feel like they were her best friend.She is survived by her husband, Robert Cameron, brother, Don Grosso, her children: Mike Cameron (Camille) of Murray, Utah; Mark Cameron (Donna) of South Jordan, Utah; Matt Cameron (CJ) of North Salt Lake, Utah; Marv Cameron (Melanie) of Draper, Utah; Suzi Sayer (Wes) of Gilbert, Arizona; 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her Father, Bert Grosso, her Mother, Adeline Grosso, her Sister, Betty Lou Grosso, her Brother, Melvin Grosso and her Brother, Albert Grosso.Visitations will be held on Wednesday Dec. 28, 2011 at 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Allen Funeral Home 1130 South Horne Mesa, Arizona. Her funeral will be held on Thursday Dec. 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Ward Chapel, 1100 North Cooper Road Gilbert, Arizona. Her Interment will take place on Saturday Dec 31, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 So Highland Drive Salt Lake City, Utah.Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Allen Funeral Home, Mesa, Arizona (480) 833-1716.
