SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake Community College baseball team jumped eight spots this week in the NJCAA national poll to No. 3 in the country. This is the highest ranking for any SLCC baseball team in the program's history.
The team is riding a 22-game winning streak led by a pitching staff that is holding opponents to a .178 batting average and an average of 2.07 runs per game.
