POCATELLO, Idaho — A short-handed Weber State squad fell to Big Sky Conference rival Idaho State, 71-51.
Sophomore guard Megan Patterson scored 16 points for WSU, knocking down four 3-pointers to keep her atop the league in long-distance shots made per game.
Senior forward Caitlin Anderson finished the night with 12 points and six rebounds. Anderson's six rebounds give her 688 for her career and move her in to ninth place in Weber State's career rebounding charts, sliding past former standout Sara Tuomi. Anderson needs seven more boards in her final career game to move into eighth place on the list.
Sophomore forward Mariah Metoyer added seven points and junior center Mikell Woodfield added six for Weber State, which had its two-game win streak snapped. Freshman guard/forward Jordan Pfau had a team-best eight rebounds for the Wildcats, who were undone by committing 23 turnovers.
Weber State will wrap up its 2010-11 season on the road Saturday afternoon at Sacramento State.
