DENVER — A prosecutor says he has filed paperwork in a case involving a 12-year-old boy suspected of killing his parents and wounding two of his younger siblings.
District Attorney Robert Watson declined to provide details of paperwork sent to the court Friday.
He cited a gag order imposed by a judge in Tuesday's slaying of Charles and Marilyn Long. Watson previously said he planned to file first-degree murder and other charges Friday in the case.
Watson says he hasn't decided whether to prosecute the boy as an adult.

A first-degree murder conviction in adult court carries a life sentence without the possibility of parole, while being prosecuted as a juvenile could mean treatment in a juvenile facility until the age of 21.
