TWIN FALLS, Idaho — Salt Lake Community College women's head basketball coach Betsy Specketer and sophomore Haley Holmstead have earned top honors in Region 18, with Specketer beings named Region 18 Coach of the Year — her second year in a row — and Holmstead being selected as Region 18 Player of the Year.
SLCC sophomores Jami Mokofisi and Alli Blake were both named second team All Region, and freshmen Sofia Hepworth earned honorable mention honors.
The SLCC men's basketball program had three players named to the All Region teams. Alfonzo Hubbard and Patrick McCollum were both named first team All-Region players, and Jason Gamblin received honorable mention.
