Beth M. Ingersoll passed away on March 01, 2011. Beth Adawn was received into the world on December 21, 1918 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Louie C. and Ivie Mitchell.Beth lived in Sandy, Utah, was an active member of the LDS church, graduated from Jordan High School where she participated in Student government and Drama, and attended BYU. On November 25, 1940, she was married to Robert G. (Bob) Ingersoll. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple. Mother oversaw her sons' education, assisting in school and holding offices in the PTA. She learned to be politically active from her mother, and supported the party. A long time member of The Friends Club and The Kultura Club of Sandy, she held positions on their boards. Bob and Beth were members of the Good Sam's Club, and enjoyed traveling in their motor home. The highlight of her later years shared with Bob was when she talked him into taking dancing lessons, which resulted in many happy memories of dancing with friends. Beth loved playing Bridge, entertaining, decorating (especially for holidays), spending time with friends and family, and loved to give gifts for any occasion. Her final two years were spent at the Draper Wentworth Assisted Living Center where she received love, care, and compassion from the staff and residents. A special thank you to Joe Spencer and Hearts for Hospice. Beth is survived by a brother Lou K. Mitchell; sons: Glade, Mitch (Burlene), and Kip (Tara); grandchildren: Clint, Alicia, Nicole, and Lorena; great grandchildren: Kylie, Bailey, and Sara; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Ruth Romm, husband Robert (Bob) Ingersoll, and daughter-in-law Marie Ingersoll. Funeral services will be held on March 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Crescent Ridge 3" Ward at 10975 So. Prescott Drive (1650 E.). Viewings for family and friends will be on Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary at 1950 E. 10600 5. and on Monday prior to services at the ward from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Interment Sandy City Cemetery.
