Sure, I was disappointed to see BYU lose to New Mexico Wednesday night. But perhaps my greater disappointment was not the loss but how Jimmer reacted to it as he hung his head when benched with several minutes left in the game. Alone at the far end of the bench he rarely looked up to see how the rest of his team was playing. He acted as if he was sulking and pouting.
Lift your head, Jimmer; it's a team sport — be part of it. You rise and fall with the team. As a candidate for the NCAA national basketball player of the year, show it — on and off the court. The nation is watching you.
