SAN JOSE, Calif. — All 14 Aggies checked in and three scored in double-digits in the Aggies, 75-39 win at San Jose State Saturday. The win solidifies the Aggies' third seed at the Western Athletic Conference tournament March 9-12. The third seed is the highest seed ever for USU.

Utah State improves to 16-13 on the season and 10-6 in Western Athletic Conference action. San Jose State falls to 2-27 and 2-14 in WAC. The 10 WAC wins for USU is the most wins in a season for the Aggies since joining the WAC for the 2005-06 season. The 16 wins so far this year is tied for most wins in a season, with the 2008-09 team who finished 16-15, since the reinstatement in 2003-04.

The Aggies are 8-0 when keeping opponents to 69 points or less this season.

The 39 points is the fewest allowed in a game this season by the Aggies and the fewest allowed since the 2009-10 season when the Aggies defeated Montana-Western 71-34. The Aggie bench out scored SJSU's bench 34-4.

Senior Alice Coddington nabbed 11 points while junior Ashlee Brown and sophomore Jenna Johnson both added 10 points. The Spartans were lead by Marnesha Hall with 14 points and rebounds.

The Aggie men and the women both ran over their competition Saturday as the men also won, 75-30 over Louisiana Tech in Ruston, La.

For the game, Utah State shot 52.7 percent (29-of-53) from the field and added 5-of-14 (35.7 percent) from three-point range. The Aggies went 12-of-19 (63.2 percent) from the free-throw line. San Jose State shot 24.5 percent (13-of-53) from the field and went 0-of-9 from 3-point range, The Spartans also added 13-of-19 (68.4 percent) from the charity stripe.

The Aggies win at San Jose State concludes regular-season action. USU earned a first-round bye as the third seed and will play at 9:30 MT against the winner of the game between seventh-seeded Hawaii and sixth-seeded New Mexico State which will take place Wednesday at 9:30 p.m.
