Antonetta Van de Liefvoort Priet Stevenson, our mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on March 3, 2011. She was born in Brabant, Holland, on December 5, 1918. Living in German occupied Holland during World War II gave her many interesting stories and a great perspective on life. She met Andreas Priet during World War II and they were married in April of 1945. She immigrated to the United States in 1959 with Andreas and their three daughters. He was the love of her life and they enjoyed many happy years together. Several years after Andreas passed away in July of 1971, she met and married Colonel Harry K. Stevenson (United States Army). She is survived by her daughters Anne (Art) Rasmussen, Henrietta Schrecengost, Lenetta Priet and grandchildren Troy (Virginia) Booth, Andrea (Troy) Dessert, Sean (Brittany) Booth, Viktor Schrecengost and Scott (Meagan) Schrecengost. She adored her great grandchildren Gavin, Hallee, Nick, Hannah, Mason, Tegan, Peyton and Ginger. She will be dearly missed by her daytime pal and favorite cat, Cali. She always said, "I've had a great life so don't cry for me." Friends may call Monday evening at Memorial Estates, 5850 South 900 East, between 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1070 Foothill Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah on Tuesday, March 8th at 2:00 pm. Family and friends my visit one hour prior to services. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Mountain View Memorial Cemetery, 3115 East 7800 South, Salt Lake City.
