TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma parlayed three two run innings into a victory, as the Rainiers knocked off the Salt Lake Bees 6-1 on Thursday night.

Tyler Chatwood made a spot start for Salt Lake. He walked five in three innings.

The Rainiers grabbed a 2-0 lead in the second inning on a two run double by Michael Saunders off of Chatwood. They would later get a pair of two run homer from Ryan Langerhans, one in the fourth and one in the sixth. The Bees' lone run came on a sacrifice fly by Paul McAnulty in the fifth inning.

Chatwood returns to the Angels' rotation on July 19th against Texas. He allowed two runs on four hits with two strikeouts. Tyson Auer laid down a bunt single in the fifth inning to stretch his hitting streak to twelve game, while Reggie Willits had three hits to extend his hitting streak to ten games.

The Bees have now dropped a season high six consecutive games and a season long five straight on the road.
