CEDAR HILLS — Police arrested a man in connection with a brazen attack when someone threw three Molotov cocktails at a home Wednesday.

"About 5:30 this morning, my wife and I were sleeping, and we heard a big bang, crashing sound and then we heard it again and then we heard breaking glass," said Chuck, who didn't want to use his last name.

Three glass pop bottles on fire and filled with gasoline were thrown at the Cedar Hills home. Two of the bottles spilled on the porch. One of the bottles made it inside the home, but did not ignite. Chuck was able to put out the flames.

No one was hurt, but the house did suffer some damage. The arsonist ran off and left behind a lighter and a hammer, which police took into evidence.

Police arrested a man at a rental car agency at the Salt Lake City International Airport. The FBI is investigating and says it was not a random act of violence.
