Kurtis Robert Kyllo moved on to a place of peace the evening of July 15, 2011. He was born Sept. 22, 1982 to Sue Vickers and Cordell Harold Kyllo in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated from Skyline High School with honors in 2001. Kurtis was a giant teddy bear with a soft, tender heart. He loved playing music and was very talented and intelligent - a unique "sensitive artist" with a one-of-a-kind sense of humor. He was very protective of the ones he loved and will be greatly missed by all. Kurtis was looking forward to his new union with Charlyn Bokum and her son, Aiden, who will always be a part of our family. Kurtis is survived by his parents, Sue and Dave Vickers; father, Cordell Kyllo; brother, Dennis; sisters, Sarah and Rachel; step-sisters, Stefeni (Joe) and Rachel (Michael); niece, Annabelle; grandparents, Harold (Patricia) Kyllo, Ray (Barbara) Dennis; many more family and friends. Preceded in death by "Mimi" Ruth Dennis; uncle, Donald Dennis. There will be a memorial service Friday, July 22, 2011 at 7 p.m. at the Mtn. View Memorial Mortuary (3115 E. Bengal Blvd./7800 S). We welcome anyone to join and share love and memories of Kurtis. May he rest in peace.
