NEW YORK — No matter how bad life gets for Aaron Paul's character on "Breaking Bad," it's hard to hold it against him.

He plays Jesse Pinkman, a drug-dealing slacker turned murderer in the show's fourth season.

Pinkman works with his former high school chemistry teacher Walter White, played by Bryan Cranston, to produce meth. Cranston has cancer and started a career in drugs to provide for his family after he died.

But many fans find something very good about Pinkman, and he's someone they're rooting for.

Paul says that as the show goes on, "you see he has a heart and he cares."
