Mildred S. Freymuller 1920 ~ 2011

Mildred S. Freymuller, born in Scarsdale, NY, July 20th, 1920, passed away July 12, 2011. A long time resident of Salt Lake City, Mildred was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. A native of New York state, she was raised on a farm in Scarsdale. As a young adult she lived in New York City. She married Fredrick R. Freymuller, a retired Lt. Colonel of the U.S.A.F. The couple lived in Long Island, NY where they raised their three sons. They moved to Salt Lake City in 1963 where Mildred became an active community member, volunteering at the Utah Symphony and socializing at the Cottonwood Club with her weekly bridge club. She enjoyed her successful career in residential real estate sales with Salt Lake Realty Company. She loved family road trips throughout the U.S., skiing at Park City and Brighton and camping and fishing at Flaming Gorge National Park. Mildred cherished her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred in 1985 and her sister Virginia Koenig in 2003. She is survived by her three loving sons, Chris (Madolin) of Salt Lake City; Fred (Kali) of Portland; and Robert (Kathryn) of Las Vegas. She also leaves behind four precious grand-daughters: Lauren, Payton, Allison and Barrett. Special thanks to George Wright and his staff at Sunrise Senior Living, her home for the last three years. A celebration of her life is planned for Noon on Saturday, August 20th, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church, 1070 Foothill Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church in memory of Mildred.
