LINCOLN, Neb. — Bo Pelini often says Nebraska's football program is defined by championships. Yet the Cornhuskers haven't won a conference title since 1999.

The 43-year-old Pelini would love to bring home a title in the Huskers' first year in the Big Ten.

The Huskers get their first tuneup for Big Ten play when they meet Chattanooga in Saturday's opener in Lincoln.

Pelini said narrow losses in the last two Big 12 title games have made him "hungrier."

Receiver Tim Marlowe says the fourth-year head coach is ready to win a championship and he and his teammates are ready to give it to him.
