Daniel Ross Varney 1956 ~ 2011
Daniel Ross Varney of American Fork Utah, passed away August 1, 2011. He was born on July 14, 1956 in Salt Lake City Utah. He is the son of Richard Thomas Varney and Lois Elaine Weeks. Besides his immediate family he had a very loving family of 50 years at USDC. He participated in the Special Olympics, he was the music conductor for many church programs, and active in community programs. He also loved arts and crafts. He is survived by his mother, brothers and sisters: Millie (John) McAfee, St. George, UT; Dell Thomas (Linda) Varney, Golconda, NV; Violet Jean Landry, Farmington, NM; Richard Douglas Varney, Taylorsville, UT; Darrell Lee Varney, West Valley, UT; many nieces and nephews. Daniel is preceded in death by his father and a brother, David Eugene Vaught. Funeral services will be Wed, August 10, 2011 at the USDC Chapel, 975 North 900 East, American Fork at 11 a.m. Friends may call from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial in the Lehi City Cemetery.
