Many NH voters have reservations about Romney

HOLLIS, N.H. — Mitt Romney is supposed to be a shoo-in to win the New Hampshire primary. But Republican voters in the state often say they aren't ready to vote for the former Massachusetts governor.

Many in the GOP say they're exploring other options and have concerns about Romney's trustworthiness and shifts on key issues.

Romney owns a vacation home in New Hampshire and has maintained a nearly constant presence in the state since his 2008 presidential bid.

But John Anderson, a Republican activist from Hollis, says his problem with Romney is that he has "been on both sides of every issue that there possibly is." Many supporters are more likely to say Romney's steady than exciting.
