OCC sermon examines the perils of riches
OREM — Pastor George Lower will speak on "The Perils of Riches," based on Psalm 22:1-5 and Mark 10:17-31, at The Orem Community Church on Sunday, Oct. 14, at 10:30 a.m. Sunday School is available for children, and fellowship time follows the service.
Oct. 15 will be the final garden work night for the season, and Oct. 29 will be a spaghetti dinner to celebrate the harvest.
A fundraising dinner for Nancy Lower, wife of the OCC pastor, will be held on Oct. 27, 6-9 p.m., at the Springville Senior Center, 65 E. 200 South, Orem.
