DALLAS — Take Oklahoma's latest Red River Rivalry blowout as an example of the power of positive thinking.

Quarterback Landry Jones says he sees a difference in the Sooners' approach since their surprising home loss to Kansas State three weeks ago.

Instead of worrying about what could go wrong, Jones believes Oklahoma's players are now "cutting loose" and playing the game freely.

It showed in a 63-21 rout of Texas on Saturday that catapulted Oklahoma (4-1, 2-1 Big 12) up three spots to No. 10 in The Associated Press' new poll. The Longhorns fell all the way out of the Top 25 from No. 15.

Jones believes if the Sooners can harness how they played against Texas, "we can go however far we want to go."
